At the age of 18, Dad had since past away and I was then given an opportunity thru WAVTS to work and gain High School class credit (on the job training) ... teacher = Dean Troutman < great teacher
WAVTS found me a job with 'Shrum Engineering' Bob Shrum, I worked for Bob for four years drafting his layout plans for electrical/mechanical and plumbing drawings although I knew it wasn't really what I wanted to do, at least I was now drawing for a living and no longer sacking and carrying out groceries at the Store
