Before life could be given, sins had to be forgiven (taken away)
Only God can forgive sins
Mark 2:07 .. why does this man speak that way .. he is blaspheming .. who can forgive sins but God alone
God became a man
Philippians 2:5-8 .. have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus .. who .. although he existed in the form of God ..
did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped .. but emptied himself .. taking the form of a bond-servant ..
and being made in the likeness of men .. being found in appearance as a man .. he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death ..
even death on a cross
He died in our place
Romans 5:8 .. but God demonstrates his own love toward us .. in that while we were yet sinners .. Christ died for us
1 John 2:2 .. and he himself is the propitiation for our sins .. and not for ours only .. but also for those of the whole world
