018 What I said had nothing to do with what you said. I said two Christians arguing over the same book and then coming here claiming to what to clear things up and teach people. I also said that you Theists stay in your safe zone and toss scripture out at us, which is exactly what the two of you have done. I am not mocking your holy book. I'm mocking you! http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021802

017 Didn't take long for two theists to start arguing between eachother about the understanding of their holy book. lol http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021729

016 So much for giving you a chance at what you first clamed to have desired. You've done the same as any other Theist who has come here. You've not taught nor have you learned. I will revert back to what I stated in post 9 with the following and you can bore the crap out of someone else http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021584

015 I'm not trying to trap you in anything, here. I'm asking you a question I've asked the Elders of the church I attended when I was visiting my cousin last month. i just want your take on it. If you can't, then that's fine just say so, but don't tell me to forget about it when it is something that goes along with learning and growing http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021536

014 The one thing that strikes me as weird. I've been re-reading the bible and It struck me odd that when God made Adam, everybody assumes that he made him and Eve to live forever, but right beside the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was planted the tree of life. Now, why would there be any need for a tree of life if man was created to live forever? If God is supposed to know everything and knew in advance that Adam and Eve would sin, why create a tree of life and have it unguarded? Then again, why would God need to have a guard at all, since he created the garden and man and could easily reverse any eating of the tree of life? http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021530

013 I think despotism is the major reason mankind has been held back and religion has no monopoly on that. It's not the religion that that's the perpetrator, It's those who want to use religion that's our worst enemy. Not all people who believe in it want to take over everything else http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021513

012 Religion is interesting to me. It's apart of our culture and there is structure in there that many need. I am not one of these, but I enjoy discussing the Bible, not because of it's religiosity, but because it is so in depth in many of i's details. I have read the thing before and find I like the Gospels more than anything. There is great philosophy there and the parables are extremely insightful http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021484

011 What concerns me is that you have a website that has no, from what I can see direct connection to any religious organization which is a red flag to me. Is this website a verbatim copy of the Bible or your understanding of it? If It Is the your interpretation, I would rather just find a subject and discuss it with you. Which version do you prefer? I like The King James because I love old English.

010 You want to talk religion, I'll talk it with you, but don't come on here Arrogantly speaking of learning and growing when all you have are links to a free website that only you are a member of pushing your understanding of the Bible as truth. Other than that I'm open for discussion http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021478

009 I love your reworking of others material. It shows how genuine you are. You arrogantly expect people to take your words as truth when you scramble others to fit your own attitudes. How can others see you as honest when you act so dishonest. You have no truth outside your own self importance and that I've seen too many times in these debate sites http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021476

008 Your demonization is condemnation http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021474

007 OH, surprise, surprise. Here comes the demonetization from the deluded one. Oh Boy! How dare i call you on your fantasies http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021471

006 But you are not doing either one. You are essentially reading a book of fables and then watching a you tube on how to interpret those fables to make them seem to address modern day life, which is failing miserably if the statistics are to be believed http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021467

005 This is not growing in any way nor is it learning, since you can't learn from fiction. In actuality all you are doing is condemning others for having the life you reject, because a book that a shrinking section of society believes comes from divinity http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021467

004 Typical Christian take something out of context and use the parts you can pick out to further your own agenda. There's nothing new here just bloviating http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021465

003 It's not the quality or the quantity that matters. It's the fact that it's being thrown at us by those who think we can benefit from an addiction to delusion that matters. Especially since they claim they understand it to those who don't believe, but yet have so many denominations of their own who disagree on the very same Bible. I call that hypocrisy of the highest order http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021463

002 I have no gospel, nor do I preach.
When you attempt to grow or to learn you go outside of that which you are comfortable and I've never seen any theist do that when dealing with their religion. They simply stay inside their safe place and toss scriptures out to the rest of us and think we should except both that and the condemnation that follows at face value http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021446

001 Growth and learning are not synonymous with religion, since religion defines the perimeters that determine what is too much learning and growth. Religion is the fishbowl which determines just how far the fish can grow http://www.volconvo.com/forums/showthre ... ost1021436
