B
To bring our department to the next level of graphic display. Toward the year end or the
beginning of 2015, training will begin from Deb Akers to utilize the program Bunkspeed,
allowing our department a new ability to transfer engineering CATIA V5 models to a
color and/or black and white realistic graphic presentation for special projects
C
Informing
As each project moves forward, a collection of information is gathered from Engineering
for the writer and illustrator concerning the best plan and development of the illustration,
in order to display the writer's need and intent, and to graphically communicate the task
at hand. A series of personal back and forth communications has always provided the
best concluded outcome for the writers’ ultimate satisfaction.
Decision Quality
From 35 years of experience in working with technical writers and utilizing the latest
technology available, comes the opportunity to create well advanced, accurate, simple
and easy to understand graphics for our parts catalogs and maintenance manuals.
Assuring the writers and illustration team that no task whether it be simple or complex is
far from the complete satisfaction it deserves.
Approachability
I am easy to approach and talk to, no matter what the graphic need might be. I am always
willing to receive work and special projects from inside and outside my immediate
department. I am sensitive to the interpersonal anxieties of others, and I view everyone
as my customer. I do my best to assure them that the project will be completed with the
utmost care and professionalism.
Functional/Technical Skills
Manual drafting along with 35 years of experience with the latest technology have given
me the functional and technical knowledge to do the job at a high level of expertise.
D
Self-Development
Always personally committed and actively working to continuously improve and
educate myself. There is always a need for looking to the future for opportunities and
development, especially when it comes to acquiring new technology and avenues to
produce the best graphics.
Action Oriented
To learn Bunkspeed and converting 3D CATIA V5 engineering models to color / black &
white realistic image illustrations for special projects.
Action Oriented
Integration with Cessna Illustration department with our department – continuing.
