When you think of the word Sabbath, more probably comes to mind than just Saturday, the seventh day of the week ....
For some, it’s the day established long ago by God for worship and still set apart today–perhaps set apart for nothing but worship. For others,
the Sabbath is out of sight, out of mind. It’s the Old Testament commandment God overturned, with no real connection to the church, modern-day Christianity, or worship ....
But the Sabbath, when understood in its fullness, is rich in meaning and far reaching in its implications. Prepare to be surprised.
In survey fashion, John MacArthur explores the Sabbath—its meaning, its fulfillment, and why meeting for corporate worship on Sunday, the Lord’s Day,
is central to Christian faith and practice.

Genesis 2:01 .. Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.
2:02 .. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
2:03 .. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
